Harvesting Chilli Peppers
Harvesting Chilli Peppers
Harvest chili peppers when they reach the desired size and color. Use scissors or pruners to cut the peppers from the plant, leaving a small portion of the stem attached.
Harvest regularly to encourage continuous production. Be cautious with the spicy varieties; wear gloves to protect your hands from the heat.
If peppers are left on the plant, they may turn red or yellow, indicating full ripeness. Remember, harvesting promotes more fruiting, so keep picking to encourage a bountiful crop.
